Pilot Merit Badge - Petr Bily
VACC-CZ proudly awards Pilot Merit Badge to Petr Bily to distinguish his contribution to popularization of the VATSIM network by organizing Runway 4 You event in Vratislavice. Together with the badge, Petr Bily will be presented B738 aircraft in a specially designed livery. The delivery flight from the paint shop in Ostrava to the Mnichovo Hradiste (LKMH) airfield takes place on April 27, 2013 to commence this year's Runway to Hell event. Aircraft arrival and hand-over ceremony is planned to 16:51z. Applauding VFR traffic welcome.

VACC-CZ zve všechny na každoroční Runway to Hell 2013. Kapacita ruzyňského letiště je ve špičkách na hranici možného; denní provoz se pohybuje okolo 600 pohybů, ve špikách více než 60 pohybů za hodinu -- tedy je méňe než minuta mezi dvěma přistáními ri vzlety. Pro takovéto špičky jsou k dispozici speciální procedury, nazývají se High Intensity Single Runway Operations. My vás zveme k účasti, zjistěte jak se cítí piloti:
Nabízíme plné pokrytí ATC s nejméně 9ti pozicemi, návody k procedurám, mapy, scenérii zdarma, extrémní zábavu a atmosféru. Uděláme vše, abyste naplno pocítili atmosféru hustého provozu jako v reélném prostředí letiště Praha Ruzyně! |
The VACC of the Czech Republic invites you for High Density Flyin - Runway to Hell 2013. The capacity of the real Prague Ruzyně Airport is standing on its edge; the daily flow reaches 600 movements per day, with over 60 movements per rush hour -- less than a minute between two landings or take offs. Special procedures have been implemented to manage such big traffic on a single runway. They are called High Intensity Single Runway Operations. And therefore we invite you to explore how the real pilots feel themselves:
We offer full ATC services with at least 9 ATC positions, Single Runway Landing and Ground Procedures Tutorial, charts of destination, LKPR Free Scenery, the extreme fun atmosphere with us. We will make our best for you to feel like in the middle of the rush traffic day at real Prague Ruzyně airport! |
Runway4you - debriefing
Dear ATCo´s, dear pilots,
let me advance to wholeheartedly thank you for your participation in this event Runway4you. Idea of this event has born symbolically during the night of Runway to Heaven event in Karlovy Vary, which is dedicated to Mr. Pavel Svoboda. A man who is largely contributed with the state of the virtual skies over the Czech Republic. I am glad that I can in this way report to the real heaven, that Pavel's legacy lives on. Thanks to young people, who continually educate themselves and devote plenty of time to this hobby, is this legacy even developing. We are a community of young, intelligent, easygoing people who continue to spread their knowledge without any right for any reward. We are people who like to meet together and have still something to discuss about. We are people who can take over together and this was proven by Runway4you action. The name of this action is devised by Jiří Sochor. Until today, I can safely say that this particular Runway was not for you, personally, but it was for you, the community.

There will be a TWR level exam of our colleague Bedřich Schindler running on Saturday 5th of January 2013 at 19:00Z in Prague. Make a flight from or to Prague to let him earn his new rating! Other ATC positions will be online as well. |

| Nezapomeňte - jako každý týden i tuto středu máme COD! Tak létejte - odkudkoli, kamkoli s čímkoli. Věřte, že nás, co by ATC, potěší jakékoli zpestření - vizuální přiblížení, EMG, jiná dráha, okruhy, vyčkávání, za VFR... vše je možné - samozřejmě vždy s ohledem na ostatní provoz. Stačí si říct... |
Don't forget - as every week also this Wednesday there is the COD! So fly - from anywhere to anywhere, with any aircraft. Believe us, we - as ATCs - like anything unusual - visual approach, EMG, different runway, patterns, holding, VFR flights... everything is possible - of course always with regards to other traffic. Just let us know... |
