In real life the flying replica of original BH-5 is flying the route from Prague to Belgium according the original flight plan of 1923. The same event has been organised on VATSIM network by Mr. Amalka with his virtual historical group.

The both the events end succesfull and the VATSIM pilots will be inform about cooperation between the Historicflight Group and VACC CZ in the future.

Congratulations Czech Republic!
The winner of the competition is now officially Mr. David Janoušek from Czech Republic. He collected 260 points during the week in 138 flights. The second prize goes for Mr. Romain Fevre from France and the bronze medal goes to Egypt, for Mr. Ahmed Hassan.

All contestants collected also points for their country (VACC). Country ranking follows:

1. Czech Republic (334 pts)
2. Finland (247 pts)
3. France (185 pts)

The next Pilot in Command 2008 Race starts on July 2009 with some improvements. An exact date will be notified later.

Dear pilots,

In June we (CSAv) are organizing groupflight from Prague (LKPR) to the second largest city of France. Concretely to Marseilles Provence LFML. So we have heading towards to sun and Mediterranean sea.
Our day is Sunday 29th June 2008 Time interval 17:00-22:00 UTC (19-24LOC) So coordinate it in accordance with your time options. You can fly between these cities as you want. ATC services in LKAA and LFMM fir will be available, of course.

Dear Pilots!

VACC-CZ hosts the TWR Firewalking event at Prague-Ruzyne LKPR airport on Sunday June 22, 2008 1700-2000 UTC. Withing these 3 event hours, VACC-CZ staff will test their new ATC colleague Pavel Brodsky at the LKPR_TWR position. Expect fully manned FIR Praha and extensive IFR and VFR operations. Come and help us to test Pavel's professional ATC skills in the vibrant Sunday evening traffic!

Selected students of the Senior High School at Prague-Prosek, Czech Republic participate in a unique school project. Their task has been to get acquainted with aviation rules and procedures, master aircraft simulator flying, and get familiar with the VATSIM network. The project culminates in their solo VFR flight from a local airfield near Prague to Prague-Ruzyne international airport (LKPR), or a local IFR flight in the Czech airspace.
FIR and TMA Prague will be fully ATC covered at that unusual local morning time. Any IFR traffic from/to Prague or even local VFR traffic will be highly welcome. Come and support this innovative and exciting education project! Full frequency and high density TMA Prague will give the project final presentation the desired flavor.

Due to some soccer events of minor importance, this year's Rock im Park Fly-In at EDDN will take part on Monday, 9th June from 1600z to 2100z. Not only all Nürnberg stations will be staffed, but also regional airports as Bayreuth (EDQD), Hof/Plauen(EDQM), and Karlovy Vary (LKKV). Together with our regular vACC SAG online days at EDBB FIR, EDDL and LOWS you, the pilots, have all the options for a visit to Nürnberg from the direction of your choice.
All the flying gadgets you've got are welcome, from little VFR hoppers and choppers up to the big iron Nürnberg's 8.858ft / 2.700m runway can handle. We at EDDN as well as all supporting controllers from vACC SAG and vACC CZ are looking forward to your visit.
